After Marche was sold by América to the Dragons, Lanús should have received a 0.5 percent transfer fee.

MEXICO - Lanús plans to go to FIFA because Porto has not yet paid the famous solidarity mechanism for the transfer of Agustín Marchesín, former goalkeeper of America. According to South American newspapers, the Portuguese team has not yet paid the bonus that is due to the team that developed the Argentinean.

After Marche was sold by the Eagles to the Dragons for 8.5 million dollars, Lanús was supposed to receive a 0.5 percent commission from the transfer, as article 21 of the Regulation of the Statute of Transfer of Players stipulates. This is because the South American player joined the club at the age of 17.

According to this, Lanús is entitled to 187 thousand dollars for Marche's transfer. In fact, the newspaper Olé mentions the periods in which the transfers had to be made, which started on August 29, 2019, the second in November of the same year, the third on January 31, 2020, and the last on Monday.

In this way, Lanús has turned to FIFA to help the South American team receive the compensation. This could be higher if the goalkeeper of the Dragons is given certain performance bonuses that were agreed upon at the time of his contract.
