MONTERREY -- Monterrey's defender, Leonel Vangioni, assured that the team is not satisfied with what they have achieved so far, so they will fight for another championship in the Clausura 2020 Tournament.
"We are always committed to achieving things, the club always demands it, the squad we have demands it, so we always look forward and we are not satisfied with what we have achieved", he said during an autograph signing event organized by the club, which was also attended by Vincent Janssen and Maxi Meza.
Monterrey was crowned in the previous Apertura 2019, and also achieved third place in the Club World Cup held in Qatar. Now, they will fight for the Liga MX bicampeonato.

Regarding the rumors of midfielder Matías Kranevitter arriving as a reinforcement, he said that he has a good relationship with him, but he is unaware if there is a possibility.
"I haven't talked to him even though we have a good relationship. If he ends up coming, he is a great player who has shown his skills in the teams he has played for. I really don't know anything, but anyone who comes to reinforce the team is welcome," he stated.
Monterrey will have their first match of the Clausura 2020 this Saturday against Monarcas Morelia, in the second round match.
