Gabriel Hachen, a player from Juarez FC, has been suspended for one year, as reported by the Disciplinary Commission, who informed that the punishment is due to the "violent behavior" he had towards a referee in a friendly match.
"Player Gabriel Alejandro Hachen, member of FC Juarez from Liga MX, is sanctioned with a one-year suspension from all official sports competitions endorsed by the Mexican Football Federation, as well as a fine."
The altercation took place in a friendly match in preparation for the Clausura 2020 between Bravos and the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, in which the player was reported to have assaulted the referee.
A week ago, Alejandra de la Vega, owner of the team, stated that they would comply with the sanction imposed by the Mexican Football Federation.
"We align ourselves with what the disciplinary commission determines, we respect the football regulations. In the worst case, it could be a long suspension, but all actions have consequences."
