GUADALAJARA -- Midfielder Jesús Ángulo officially became a new player for Chivas for the Clausura 2020. The Culiacán, Sinaloa native comes to the Rebaño after a standout tournament with the Rayos.
Through their official Twitter account, the Rebaño Sagrado announced that the talented 22-year-old midfielder will wear the Chivas jersey starting next season. Ángulo established himself in the Apertura 2019 as one of the key pieces in Guillermo Vázquez's scheme at Necaxa.
The player from Sinaloa played a total of 21 matches with the Aguascalientes squad and it is worth noting that he was part of the starting lineup in 20 occasions. The midfielder scored four goals and was one of the key pieces for the Rayos to qualify for the Liga MX playoffs.
Jesús began his career in football with Xolos de Tijuana and in 2015 he was loaned to Dorados de Sinaloa, the team where he made his Liga MX debut in March 2016. Two years later, Jesús returned to Xolos and last summer he was transferred to the Rayos.
