MONTERREY -- The Argentine goalkeeper Nahuel Guzmán remained on the sidelines of the Tigres' practice today, as they began their preparation to face América in the playoffs of the Apertura 2019 Tournament, and underwent therapy for his injury.
The felines started their training at 12:00 hours at the Universitario Stadium and the goalkeeper began his recovery process after the physical problem he suffered in the match against FC Juárez.
Guzmán suffered an injury to the back of his right thigh, for which he will undergo the corresponding medical examinations in the next few hours.
For now, his participation in the quarter-finals of the Apertura 2019 Tournament remains in doubt and it will be after the medical tests when the time he will be out of action is known.
In light of this, goalkeepers Miguel Ortega and Eduardo Fernández worked in training, who could take Guzmán's place if he does not recover.
