Alan Pulido was not well received by the Tigres fans in the farewell match of Damián Álvarez that took place on Wednesday night. Despite this, the Guadalajara player declared that he did not hear the boos coming from the stands of the ‘Volcán’.
"I didn't hear them booing me, did they boo me?" said the forward who played for Tigres from 2009 to 2014, during which he won a league title and a cup.
The striker continued: "These are things that happen, I take it as a compliment, it means that things have gone well for me in my career since I left here."
The football player returned to the home of Tigres to be part of Damián Álvarez's farewell, however, his welcome contrasted with that of the other characters, who were cheered, as Alan was booed while running across the field after being announced by the stadium speakers.
Pulido also spoke about the rumored interest from Rayados to sign him in this transfer window: "I still have a contract with Chivas, my dream is to be back in Europe. I knew there were possibilities, but I focused on my own things, until my agent and the board didn't tell me anything, I wasn't going to make any decision. I feel the colors of Chivas, and that's what I hold on to."
