Ricardo Pelaez, sports director of Cruz Azul, arrived at the headquarters in Cancun where the Mexican Football Week is taking place and stated that La Maquina already has almost its entire squad ready after the six incorporations, but does not rule out signing anyone in the Transfer Window.

"The team is practically 90% complete, but something is still missing," he said. The sports director expressed satisfaction with the work that has been done since the new faces will arrive at La Noria to start the preseason, except for Roberto Alvarado, who is with the Mexican National Team in the Esperanzas de Tolulon tournament, and Igor Lichnovsky, who is with the Chilean national team.

"You have to know how to handle pressure, it always exists in big teams like Cruz Azul, but as we said at the presentation, the idea is to have the reinforcements by this time," he said.

"We are strengthening all the lines. We are happy, very excited. I am more concerned about the income than the departures," said Pelaez, who also informed that Felipe Mora and Morelia will reach an agreement in the coming days.

Ricardo assured that the team from La Noria must always be in the grand party of Mexican football: "There must be no excuses, the team must qualify by obligation. While it is an objective, it is a permanent obligation in this institution from now on and then fight for the title in every tournament."
