GUADALAJARA -- Luis Reyes, a reinforcement of América, assures that he has improved after the operation he underwent at the end of Clausura 2018. He even reported that he is already doing exercises to help with his rehabilitation.
"Physically, I'm getting there. It has been three weeks since the operation (for pubalgia), one week already doing exercises, and that's what we're preparing for, we have to keep working. Every day I feel better, the pain is passing, only some fibrosis remains," stated the new bluecreme footballer, who left Guadalajara to take his medical exams in Mexico City.
Reyes missed the last match of Clausura 2018 after undergoing surgery. At that time, a recovery time of four to six weeks was estimated, so he could join América's preseason without any problems.
"I still haven't fully grasped it, but once I step foot in Coapa for the first time, I will feel what it is like to be an América player. Honestly, something beautiful is about to happen and I am very motivated for what is to come. I trust in God and that's why we're going, to contribute and work," he said.
