Not only Cruz Azul has used the planes of Global Air airline, but also Toluca; the team resorted to it just two days before the accident occurred in Havana, Cuba, where a plane of the Mexican company crashed minutes after takeoff, leaving 110 passengers dead.
The Devil traveled to Torreon to face Santos in their first match in the Clausura 2018 Final, aboard a charter from Global Air, and although there were no mishaps like those that happened with Cruz Azul in 2012, the news has aroused public interest, following the tragedy in Havana.
The same Twitter account from the Mexican team posted photos during the flight and upon arrival in La Comarca, showing in one of them the player Ángel Reyna getting off the plane, which is labeled with the colors and logo of Global Air.
