Pumas and Benfica are close to an agreement for the transfer of Nicolás Castillo, who is already traveling to Portugal to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract with the Portuguese team.
According to Chilean journalist from ESPN, Jorge Hevia Cristino, the signing of the Andean forward would be for 8 million dollars (almost 160 mdp), of which 350 thousand dollars would go to Universidad Católica de Chile.
The Eagles are looking to get rid of the services of the Mexican Raúl Jiménez, as well as Alejandro Grimaldo, Eduardo Salvio, Andreas Samaris, Haris Seferovic and Luís Miguel Afonso Fernandes 'Pizzi'.
In previous weeks, ESPN reported Benfica's interest in Castillo, who expressed his desire to leave Pumas. Next season, Benfica will play in the Champions League.
