MEXICO - Toluca forward Ángel Reyna expressed his discontent with the synthetic field at Estadio Caliente, where they will play the first leg of the Clausura 2018 semifinals.
"Beyond what the Tijuana team can do, the field is very uncomfortable for all football players, but well, we have to adapt, do a good job, and achieve a good result. We are going for the win," said the Red Devils player.
Reyna assured that the explosiveness of the team that led to them receiving four red cards in the tournament will be managed in a positive way.
"We have to handle it with experience. If it is an important stage, we cannot make mistakes, but we also can't change a person or the whole group from one day to another. So, we have to continue with the same intensity, the same personality, obviously trying to have that experience and manage it for the good of the team," he commented.
Finally, the forward denied being the savior of the State of Mexico squad.
"We are all important here. There are no heroes. There are men who come to train to the best of their abilities," he added.
