In Liga MX, the definition stage is happening, with ten eliminated teams already planning for the Apertura 2018. The Draft is the event in which clubs make purchases and sales in the national market, usually held in Acapulco, Cancun, or the facilities of the Mexican Football Federation.

WHEN WILL THE DRAFT BE?
The Liga MX Draft will take place on Wednesday, June 6, while the Ascenso MX Draft will be one day later.
WHAT ELSE HAPPENS AT THE DRAFT?
Throughout the afternoon, teams meet to finalize signings, negotiate loans, or make player exchanges. Once an agreement is reached, this transfer is uploaded to the Liga MX system and social media.
The Semana del Futbol Mexicano is the home of the Draft, presenting the news of the championship and the upcoming schedule.
WHAT ABOUT THE PACTO DE CABALLEROS?
The Pacto de Caballeros still applies to all players and will be in effect until the Apertura 2019, according to the agreement reached between the Mexican Footballers Association and leaders.
