Nearly fulfilling the dream
The now former Chivas defender, Oswaldo Alanís, headed to the old continent to sign a contract with a new team. After the midweek game against Toronto, Alanís didn't even make it into the lineup for the match that the Rebaño had against León, Guanajuato.
"The tournament just ended a few hours ago and it's time for me to travel. I will have news as soon as something comes up. The idea is to continue pursuing those dreams, we have faith that everything will work out well," he commented.
After a couple of years of success and titles, Alanís didn't want to miss the opportunity to send a message to the Chivas fans. If everything goes well, he will be back in the perla tapatía later in the week as a new member of the Aztec legion of footballers in the old continent.
"Since I arrived, I told them that I came to a big club, to contribute in some way. It has given me many things and I am very grateful for the support they have always shown me. We have learned many things and, in addition, we have added to the history of Chivas," he concluded.
