Motorcyclist crashes into ‘El Piojo’ on Periférico Sur.

After the press conference and training that Miguel Herrera had in Coapa, the blue-cream coach was involved in a car accident, which happened on Periférico Sur.

Through social media, some photographs went viral showing the blue-cream coach alongside a motorcyclist lying on the ground. Ricardo Roa, who has already been treated by Red Cross paramedics, only has some scrapes on both arms and a wound on his left knee.

The version given by 'Piojo' to the media is that Ricardo Roa was driving on the central lanes of Periférico Sur and hit the right side mirror of his car; after this, the motorcyclist slipped and fell to the ground, suffering scrapes and the wound on his knee.

The blue-cream strategist stated: "The guy falls off the bike, he only has scrapes and I'm here because I'm aware of what happened to him, the insurance will take care of everything, he doesn't have insurance, I do have insurance, fortunately he doesn't have anything, it's an accident." He also spoke about the danger of driving on the ring road: "Walking around here, these accidents happen fortunately the guy is fine".

Despite the rumors that circulated on social media, which stated that Miguel Herrera had run over the motorcyclist, the blue-cream expressed that "he (Ricardo Roa) hits my mirror, it's an accident, who's at fault? It doesn't matter, I can't say if it's me or him. Fortunately, it's an accident that nothing happened, just scrapes."

After the traffic incident in which he was involved, the coach went to the Territorial Coordination TLP-4 to determine responsibilities and stated: "Everything is already fixed, they made me come because the traffic agents are doing their job, but everything is fine now". Ricardo Roa, the 35-year-old injured motorcyclist, is in the hospital, where he will undergo an examination to rule out any fractures.
