Disciplinary Commission suspends Potros UAEM player for six matches.

Diego Gama will not play again for the remainder of the Clausura 2018 in Ascenso MX for spitting at an opponent.

The Disciplinary Commission of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) announced that the forward of Potros from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM), Diego Gama, has been suspended for six matches. The attacker of the Mexican team received this sanction "for spitting at an opponent or any other person", which means he will miss the remainder of the regular phase of the Clausura 2018 Tournament of the Ascenso MX.

Meanwhile, Andrés Felipe Rozo, assistant coach of Club Murciélagos, will be sidelined for two matches "for insulting the match officials".

Martín Renato Salcedo, assistant coach of Club Atlético Zacatepec, has been punished with one match "for constant complaints or protesting the decisions of any of the members of the refereeing team".

Meanwhile, the defenders of Murciélagos, Francisco Giovanni León and Renán Da Silva, have been suspended "one match each for being guilty of violent conduct and serious foul play, respectively".

Likewise, midfielder Rodrigo López from Celaya and midfielder Andrés Iniestra from Venados will both be absent in the next match "for receiving a second caution in the same game".
