"I apologize to all the Pumas fans and my teammates for what happened this past weekend and to move on from this situation. Come on, Pumas!" wrote the skillful midfielder on his Twitter account.

Pablo Barrera was substituted in the 74th minute, questioned David Patiño as he passed by the bench area, and then kicked a backpack containing drinks; at this time, the club has not commented on the incident.
