The Ascenso MX continues to protest and the match between Mineros de Zacatecas and Murciélagos FC was no exception. As happened on Friday in the second division, the players stopped playing in the first minute of the game.

In addition, prior to the match, the Twitter accounts of both teams published a tweet with the hashtag United for promotion, just like other teams that have already played.

The Mexican Football Association published a statement on Friday, February 16 clarifying that the protests were going to continue because of the idea of eliminating promotion and relegation, as it "goes against the ideal of development and competition in professional football".

In addition, it was clarified that it was not because of the debts owed to the Murciélagos players, as these payments have already begun to be covered and will be settled no later than next week.
