With a score of 39 to 22, the Borregos CEM team defeated Borregos Laguna in their own home. It was a match between the champions of 2017, CEM from the Centro conference, and the Bajío de Laguna team from the Bajío conference.

The CONADEIP League Juvenile category started with a high-quality match on the Tec de Monterrey field in La Laguna.

The scoreboard quickly moved in the first quarter, with the home team opening the scoring through Lalo Martínez (21) and successfully converting the extra point to take a 7-0 lead.

But the capital team quickly responded, with Iván Gutiérrez returning the kickoff for over 80 yards, taking advantage of the gaps in the defense to score a touchdown. With the successful extra point, the score was tied at seven.

SECOND QUARTER

After several possessions, the CEM team took the lead, with Juan P. Macías (13) scoring to make it 14-7 in favor of the visitors.

Minutes later, Borregos Laguna struggled to produce on offense, and Juan P. Macías (13) scored another touchdown to extend the lead to 21-7 with the extra point.

Before halftime, the Laguna team responded again through Lalo Martínez (21) and the successful extra point made it 14-21. With less than two minutes on the clock, CEM increased their lead to 27-14 through Iván Gutiérrez, although the extra point was blocked.

In the second half, the capital team continued to score points, with Emilio Macías making it 33-14. Mario Jara then scored to make it 39-14 in favor of the Borregos CEM team.

Almost at the end, Borregos Laguna scored to bring the final score to 39-22 in favor of Borregos CEM.
