After his signing with Rayados was made official this Wednesday, Argentine forward Lucas Albertengo said goodbye to Independiente de Avellaneda and made it clear that he hopes to return in the future.
"I wanted to say goodbye to everyone, my teammates, the people of the club, the directors, the coaching staff, the people who always supported me and showed me a lot of affection, now in the messages when it's time for me to leave."
"Thank you for everything. I really had incredible years here at the club. I'm leaving very happy and hopefully I can come back someday. I send you all a hug and the best. Regards," said the attacker in a video that the South American team shared on social media.
"#Independiente will always be your home, @LucasAlbertengo. Good luck in everything that comes! #TodoRojo," expressed the 'King of Cups.'
Monterrey paid $500,000 for a one-year loan, and will have a purchase option of $5.5 million.
