Tomateros de Culiacán - Roster for Serie del Caribe 2018

The Tomateros de Culiacán, champions of the 2017-2018 Mexican Pacific League (LMP) baseball season, announced today the additions of their reinforcement players for the 2018 Caribbean Series, starting next Friday.

The Tomateros have added catchers Gabriel Gutiérrez (Jalisco) and Sebastián Valle (Los Mochis), as well as infielders Jesús Castillo (Navojoa) and Walter Ibarra (Mexicali) to their original roster.

Similarly, outfielder Chris Roberson (Mexicali), and pitchers Rolando Valdez (Mexicali), Ryan Kussmaul (Mexicali), Nick Struck (Mazatlán), Miguel Peña (Mexicali), and Barry Enright (Hermosillo) will be part of the team.

Completing the list of reinforcements for the Tomateros in the Caribbean Series are pitchers José Isidro Márquez (Navojoa) and Daniel Moskos (Navojoa). Fernando Pérez and Justin Greene, who joined the team in the postseason, will stay with the club.

Culiacán will travel to Guadalajara, Jalisco, on Thursday, where they will open the 2018 Caribbean Series on Friday at Estadio Panamericano, home of Charros de Jalisco.
