Contento con la victoria de América Femenil
The coach of América Femenil, Leonardo Cuéllar, expressed his satisfaction after achieving a resounding 7-1 victory over Cruz Azul.
"Our work is starting to bear fruit, we always seek to be a team that proposes," he said.
After starting the Clausura 2018 with a defeat, Leonardo assured that results like this generate confidence within the team and they will gradually regain the intensity that characterized them in the previous tournament.
He also acknowledged Cruz Azul's great performance in the first half and declared: "little by little we started to settle in better and create a good number of opportunities that ultimately reflected on the scoreboard."
Likewise, he mentioned that the support of the fans always influences the players.
Finally, after his son, Christopher Cuéllar, won the Concacaf championship with the national Under-20 team, the América coach mentioned that he is proud of him and women's soccer.
"Very happy with women's soccer and as Christopher's father, very proud. It's good that he is achieving his own accomplishments and making his own history," he concluded.
