Veracruz defender Christian Ramos injured in his first official match

Christian Ramos, who started as a titular in his first official match with Veracruz, was forced to leave the field prematurely due to an injury. He had to be substituted at the 59th minute after feeling a pain in the back of his right thigh. José Rivas took his place.

During a play, Veracruz goalkeeper Pedro Gallese requested a stop in the game in order to attend to Ramos. Ramos was lying on the field, holding his thigh and trying to explain to his teammates and the medical staff that he couldn't continue. He immediately asked for a substitution.

Ramos may have felt the injury during a defensive play in which he made a sudden turn, causing his thigh to suffer the consequences. He had started as a titular against Santos and had a good performance until he had to leave.

Alongside Ramos and Gallese, the other Peruvian player in Veracruz, Wilder Cartagena, also made his official debut in the match. Now, Ramos will have to be evaluated to determine the severity of the injury.
