MEXICO -- The debutante in the recent list of the Mexico Selection, Victor Guzman, pointed out that facing Tigres motivates them and their expensive squad does not intimidate a team like Pachuca.
"Tigres is a team that motivates us to face; lately they have had very expensive squads, that is important to have a better performance in the League, but despite that, we do not make ourselves less."
He pointed out that "Pachuca is a team with many young players, many Mexicans, and we always come out on top in these games based on intensity. We are one of the most intense teams in the League."

The player dismissed the idea that this type of rival is giving them a hard time, considering that they started with a defeat against Pumas and then drew with America.
He stated that their recent victory over Lobos BUAP is proof that "we are improving more and more and this game comes to us at a good time."
Guzman highlighted what may have caused their weak start to the championship. "Few people know, but we did not have much preparation, we had many days off," after their participation in the Club World Cup last December.
On the other hand, when asked if coach Diego Alonso gave him any advice after his first call-up to the Mexican National Team, he replied: "He told me to keep doing what I did to be called up and that I have to take advantage because opportunities like this rarely come in life."
He affirmed that "I see myself playing in a World Cup," and also mentioned that he has not yet spoken with Juan Carlos Osorio.
ZERO CONTROVERSY ABOUT BACA ISSUE
The 22-year-old from Guadalajara discarded getting involved in controversy because the Colombian coach has not called up players like Rafael Baca, perhaps one of the big absences in the national team due to the good moment he is going through.
"It's something that is not up to me to say whether it was right or wrong. Osorio chooses them for a reason and that is not my business."
