Team Guadalajara Returns to Training Sessions
The Guadalajara team is back to training in the city, preparing for their debut in the tournament against Toluca next Sunday. On Tuesday, they had their first training session of the year at the Verde Valle facilities after almost two weeks on the beaches of Cancun.
Chivas returned to the "pearl tapatía" on Saturday, and the players received December 31st and January 1st off to spend the New Year holidays with their families. They also rested on December 24th and 25th while they were in the south of the country.
By the way, around 200 people gathered at the Rebaño facilities to watch the training, taking advantage of the extended vacation period for some and the decision of the coaching staff to hold the practice with open doors.
Oswaldo Alanís worked alongside the team, although he was not taken into account in the last friendly match that Chivas played, where they won 3-1 against the Venados team. It has not been announced yet whether he has already renewed his contract with the club or will leave in June.
One of the players who surprised the fans present was Eduardo López, as unlike previous months, his good physical condition is noticeable and his movements in the training sessions are perceived differently, which speaks of the good work he did during the preseason.
