José Luis Higuera points out that they have not put pressure on Alanís, regarding his situation.

The story of Alanís and Chivas is running out of chapters

The end can be happy or tragic, but this issue that was ventilated in the media about Alanís' refusal to renew with the Rebaño is hours away from ending.

Both parties have spoken, lowered their pretensions, and are yielding to reach an agreement or, at least, to cut off the dimes and diretes and problems that do not contribute anything good to the Verde Valle entity.

In a telephone interview with La Afición, José Luis Higuera, CEO of Chivas and Grupo Omnilife, was clear and pointed out that the tone of the leadership with its player is conciliatory and that there are no threats or intimidation against Alanís.

"It can be thought that we have pressured the player, it is a lie, we have not pressured anyone, we have given him time to analyze what is best for him and we believe that a good agreement will be reached."

On Tuesday afternoon, the tone of the talks between the Rebaño leaders and Alanís changed, it took a turn, because Higuera added that cordiality has permeated between him and Alanís, which is part of the negotiations and that based on what was said on Tuesday, everything indicates that things are taking a normal course.

"We are negotiating cordially, it has been very cordial, we are in the process. We await his response, we had a very good meeting yesterday, it has always been very cordial, and we are taking good steps forward."

Is Alanís still out of the team or will his return to preseason training depend on something?

"He has never been out, an offer was made to him and he did not accept it. But he is not out of the team."

Higuera added that the best thing is that the dialogue is not over and that beyond whether they are far or close to finding the figure to convince Oswaldo Alanís, the best thing is that both parties want to solve it as soon as possible, because he believes that this difference can be resolved, as long as there is willingness from both parties.

"It's positive, we are talking. The right thing is that we find a way out for both points of view, we are working to achieve it, we don't know what the outcome will be, but there is a good disposition from both parties."

Higuera concluded the interview by affirming that there is no rush from the management's side and that the word ultimatum does not exist in this case, that Alanís already has the offer in his hands and it depends on the center-back if he accepts it and thus joins the preseason training with the Rebaño, if he does not accept it, apparently he will continue training with the Second Division team.

"Not from my side, the idea is not to pressure the player. No rush, for the benefit of both, he will be given the time he needs to think about it."
