Santos Laguna Team
Having an effective performance, which generates points but also appeals to the audience, are the objectives of Robert Dante Siboldi at the helm of Santos Laguna, a squad that began a training period at the facilities of the Mexican Football Federation in the city of Toluca.
"The idea is to have a great tournament that allows us to be among the top eight places, and then compete in the playoffs. But the main idea is to win the matches with a style, to play well as a team, to generate practical and attractive football, the football philosophy that we have and that we can develop with the players of the squad, hoping that the results come to us to generate that confidence from the fans, the management, and ourselves to move forward," detailed the coach.
The coach knows that with reinforcements like Gerardo Alcoba, Jesús Isijara, José Juan Vázquez, and Jefferson Cuero, he can build a team with personality both on and off the field in La Laguna.
"We are asked for results, to be within the top eight places, that is the goal, but also to generate a mystique, an idea, both at home and away, to be unbeatable in our stadium and to play with personality and character, to play well in general."
Santos Laguna will train throughout the week in the capital of the State of Mexico, where they will have two preparation matches against Veracruz and the Potros UAEM from the Ascenso MX league.
