One of the saddest farewells in Mexican soccer is being prepared. Here are the words of the rabbit.

The Clausura 2018 Tournament of Liga MX will be the last in the career of goalkeeper Óscar "Conejo" Pérez, who stated that he wants to retire in his best form and with the firm objective of helping Pachuca achieve its goals.

"These are the last six months, in May, it's definitive. I am one hundred percent ready to support the club and do whatever I can. I feel very good, even in the tournament I felt very motivated, I felt that I performed well and I will try to finish as best as possible," he said.

Interviewed upon his return from the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, the veteran goalkeeper pointed out that they arrive with important spirits to play the Copa MX final.

"Yes, we arrived well, motivated, not satisfied because we had the illusion of playing in a final, it didn't happen, we finished in third place and now we're thinking about Monterrey," he stated.

"Conejo" Pérez noted that they will have to recover "as best as possible, it was many hours of flying, the schedule, we need to rest, it's a final that we want to win; (Monterrey) is coming from a very tough final and they will surely go all out."

Regarding whether Monterrey is in a bad emotional state after losing the final of the Apertura 2017 Tournament, he considered that they will surely "want to change the history in front of their people and we need to prepare for that."
