Chaco Giménez bids farewell to Cruz Azul

Seven years of his career defending the colors of Cruz Azul. So many goals, so many anecdotes, so many friends, that's how Christian Giménez remembered his time with the 'Cement Machine', which ended in the Apertura.

During the Liga MX Draft, it was confirmed that Chaco Giménez will join Pachuca. Before joining the Tuzos, the midfielder left a heartfelt message to the fans of La Noria and all the people he shared with.

"To you, Cruz Azul, what can I say? You adopted me as your son. We have nothing to reproach each other. We tried a thousand times, perhaps we didn't win the title we were looking for, but we have achieved mutual loyalty," said Chaco Giménez.

"From you, the fans, I will never forget! You made me feel like a homegrown player, you brought out my full potential. Every time I wore this shirt, it was as if I had the spirit of each fan inside me and I played with all my heart," concluded the former Cruz Azul.
