The Cruz Azul Machine already has two more reinforcements under Pedro Caixinha's command and they both come from Guadalajara to La Noria: They are José Madueña and Javier Salas, right back and defensive midfielder respectively.
After closing the last contractual details, the red-and-black duo will be part of the Cementeros starting next season; previously, Carlos Fierro was announced as another member of the team.
Both players arrived permanently to the capital's team, who welcomed them to face the Clausura 2018, the first tournament under the command of the Portuguese strategist, who recently announced some of his transferables.
The native of Mexicali, Baja California, José Madueña, played 16 games in the Apertura 2017 and in each one of them he was part of the starting lineup. The right back managed to score a goal and demonstrated an excellent disciplinary level because he only received one yellow card.
Madueña is a good full-back who likes to join the attack, he usually recovers the ball to generate dynamics. He became an offensive player, even Profe Cruz believes he has national team level, but he has not been called up by Juan Carlos Osorio.
Javier Salas is skilful as a defensive midfielder, for many he is destined to become one of the best Mexican central midfielders. He was the player who recovered the most balls in Atlas, with good mobility in the center of the field.
