Most Mexican teams have their shirts full of sponsors
So much so that it would not be uncommon to mistake them for a motor racing team; however, when they are going to participate in the Club World Cup, things change. Pachuca is the most recent case.
According to FIFA regulations, the teams of the Club World Cup can only have one sponsor and "the advertised company must be the team's main sponsor, it must be placed at the front of the shirt with an area of 200 square cm and the letters must not exceed 10 cm in height."
That being said, for this tournament, on Pachuca's shirt, you can only see Cementos Fortaleza on the chest.
The brands Telcel, Mobil Super, Univisión Deportes, Cobertores Providencia, Office Depot, Corona, and FarmaLive had to be removed.
