The Colomos team won with a global score of 7-1 and the rojinegro coach, Gerardo Espinoza, said he was happy with this victory against their hated rival.

"After a match like the first leg with a score of 5-0, you might think that the boys would hold back or start thinking about the final, but in the first half, when they accelerated, when they focused, they played great football. And when they saw themselves comfortably ahead on the scoreboard, they slowed down a bit, which is understandable. I see that they have a good rhythm and now we're waiting for a good final against Santos."

What does it mean to you to win like this against Chivas?
"Imagine, I talked to them before the series, that they are our main rival and because of the way they play, I can see that they understood it well and assimilated it."

Regarding the match against the laguneros that will take place first at the Jalisco stadium and then in Torreón, Gerardo said that his team is ready.

"I see them very engaged and focused on what's to come. I like my players to compete against themselves, to score a goal and then score again in the next match, or if they make mistakes in their passes, to not make the same mistakes in the next match. I want constant improvement for my players."

Espinoza concluded by saying that they hope to be able to play the first leg of the final with an open stadium at the Jalisco stadium.
