This weekend, Mexico City will experience American football in various forms.
The main attraction will be the NFL game at Estadio Azteca, with the Oakland Raiders playing as the home team against the New England Patriots. For the first time in history, the reigning champion of the league will play a game outside the United States, and it will be in the second country with the most fans of the sport.
Success at the Coloso de Santa Úrsula is guaranteed, as tickets sold out on the first day of release, and it is expected that more foreigners will come compared to last year, where an estimated 10,000 followers from the neighboring country were registered.
In addition to this, both teams are among the most followed in Mexican territory, with the Pats being the third team with the most Mexican fans, while the Raiders rank sixth.

Furthermore, Mexican student American football will crown its next champion on the field of Estadio Olímpico Universitario.
Once again, the Pumas CU and the Auténticos Tigres will face each other in the final of the Green Group of the National Student American Football Organization (Onefa), in a matchup that has been repeated since 2008.
Now, the team coached by Otto Becerril is seeking their first title since 2014 against the regiomontano team, who wants the threepeat even though it's not in their home field.
