América and Chivas tie in Liga MX Femenil

The América team tied 2-2 against Chivas in the second leg of the Liga MX Femenil, however, the red and white team had a 4-2 advantage, so the tie was not enough.

In response to this, América's coach, Leonardo Cuéllar, acknowledged that there are aspects that they need to improve.

"It is not possible that out of six goals against, four were clear mistakes," he mentioned.

Regarding the fact that many considered Águilas as strong contenders for the title, Cuéllar admitted that they did not meet their objectives. "When you are in an institution like América where you only look up, if we fall short," he emphasized.

After the injury suffered by Dayana Cazares in the 78th minute of the match, the Bluecreams coach said that it is something that "needs to be addressed."

"She is fine, it is something she has been dealing with for some time. She will travel to the national team concentration in December; we will inform the coaching staff to check that situation," he clarified.

Similarly, he recognized the work of his players, most of whom are U-20 players.

"There are young players who gave their all today, however, there is still a lot to learn," he added.

Furthermore, Cuéllar believes that the main factor that defined these results was that "Chivas did not fail, we did. That's what we need to work on," he concluded.
