From November 16th to 20th, the fifth edition of the "Estrella Forming" National Baseball Tournament will be held at the Revolución Stadium and alternate venues.
The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, November 17th at 7:30 pm at the Revolución Stadium.
Announcing this was Sergio Alfaro, president of the Sertoma League, in a press conference where he was accompanied by Alma Alfaro, logistics manager, Ernesto de la O, director of District XXVI of the Williamsports Academy, María Eugenia Villarreal from the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Alina Garza, director of the Municipal Sports Institute.
There are 88 teams registered in six youth categories from different cities of the country, such as Monterrey, Reynosa, Saltillo, Parral, Guanajuato, Chihuahua, as well as local selections, among others.
Each team is guaranteed four games, totaling around 400 matches that will take place at the stadium and at the Sertoma Stadium, Nazario Ortiz Garza Sports Facility, Peñoles Stadium, Compresora Sports Facility, and Torreón Sports Facility.
