Chivas Fans Prepare for Saturday's Game Against Zorros
Since last Thursday, the leaders of the Club Deportivo Guadalajara's fan clubs have been working tirelessly for the reception that the team will have on Saturday night when they host the Zorros.
The plan was to make two banners with the titles of Liga and Copa to rub in the faces of the visitors the last two championships won by Chivas. However, in the end, they did not obtain the approval of Liga MX and the management decided to backtrack on the reception.
There will be giant flags and a banner in the Barra area, where groups like La Irreverente, La Legión, and La Reja usually gather. The banner for tonight will say "Thank you for the Joys," clearly referencing the two championships won that support Coach Matías Almeyda and the team.
The banner will be displayed during warm-up and when the team takes the field for this match at the rojiblanco stadium.
The Chivas fan clubs are supporting the team's coach, despite being out of the Cup and eliminated from any possibility of qualifying for the Liguilla.
