Pumas has lost everything this season

"I am the main culprit, I understand perfectly that we deserve what we are experiencing now, but I also have clear that the boys have made an effort to get out of this, that the preparation before each match has been adequate. We have to get out of this and the solution is to keep working hard," he said in a press conference.

Visibly affected, with a broken voice and even reddened eyes, Egea detailed that the crisis has been surprising and that his continuity depends on what the board determines regarding it: "That question (about whether he will continue) should be asked to the board, I am at their disposal for whatever they decide. I trust the squad and that we can get back on the right track, although I know that the expected positive change has not arrived yet."

Pumas still has the FIFA break ahead, and for that reason, Egea commented that he hopes that during this time the team can recover Nicolás Castillo, who apparently suffered another muscle injury: "He is a decisive player, like any other goal scorer in his teams; even in that aspect there have been complications, since we have not been able to count on him in some games".
