Pumas captain shows support for earthquake victims

The former captain of Pumas of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Darío Verón, showed his support for those affected by the earthquake on September 19.

Through his Twitter account, Verón assured that he donated to an association that multiplies the amount.

My contribution was deposited in the Carlos Slim Foundation.

He has also shown affection for our country: "I feel sadness for what happened to my Mexican brothers, although the unity and strength shown to move forward excites and inspires me," he said.

I am currently out of the country for work reasons, but with all my heart I am making a deposit today to help those affected. Let's go Mexico
