Aurora Robles, 52 years old, was one of the people affected by the earthquake that shook Mexico on Tuesday, September 19. Her house became uninhabitable after the walls were damaged, so she had to find temporary accommodation.

Ms. Robles arrived at the Mexico University Center (CUM) with her husband, where several volunteers have offered them all the necessary services.

After the earthquake, Aurora uses a walker to be able to walk, as she injured her knees while trying to leave her house located on Torres Adalid and Gabriel Mancera, falling three times.

"I believe that of the 52 years I have lived and experienced tremors and earthquakes, I had never seen one like the one on Tuesday, actually, there had not been one like the one on Tuesday. I was having breakfast, I rushed out, and fell three times, injuring my knees. I am sitting here with the walker," she said to La Afición.

Today, many Mexicans have become heroes, being in the rubble, rescuing lives, supporting the victims, but Ms. Robles had one in particular: Martín Cauteruccio.

The Uruguayan forward volunteered at CUM and learned that Aurora needed a walker after being injured in the earthquake, so he quickly asked one of his friends for support to get one.

"A Cruz Azul player brought me my walker, brand new, he bought it for me in 20 minutes; they couldn't find my walker and I didn't bring any money," she commented.

The 52-year-old woman stated that 'Cuate' "was volunteering, sweeping, mopping, feeding, giving water, carrying, but I didn't know who he was until he came to see me because they have to bandage my feet. He saw me and said, 'ma'am, aren't you going to have dinner?' I said I can't get up." He immediately asked her what the reason was, and she replied, "because I need a walker and there isn't one."

The blue forward didn't think twice and "spoke to a friend and told her to go and buy me a walker. In 20 minutes, he bought it for me, he said, 'don't leave this one, this one is yours, I'll give it to you.' A volunteer told me he was a Cruz Azul player, and when I saw his legs, I said oh yes, he is a player."

Aurora expressed that Cuateruccio is "extremely kind, he was doing everything here, seeing what was needed, what we needed, he seemed to have worked a lot; a beautiful person, I am moved, I am hurt, I don't know."

Although the affected people in the CUM shelter live in uncertainty because it will only be open until Sunday, as students will return to school on Monday.

"This is chaos, and I don't want to hear that I am not going back to my house. My husband and I are here." Although in the last two days, her spouse had to go to work; however, both are figuring out what they are going to do "because they will only have us until Sunday, and it is understandable because the kids (CUM students) have to study and use their facilities."

Robles, whose house is uninhabitable because the building next to hers collided with it, destroying the walls of her living room and dining room, stated that a private architect told her that she cannot enter her property because the neighboring apartments may collapse. Despite the situation they are in, "no authority has approached them."
