Dorados de Sinaloa lost the Copa MX match played in matchday 6 against Leones Negros, which, in principle, had won on the field by a score of 2-1.

The defeat of the Culichi team occurred 'behind the scenes' when the Disciplinary Commission determined that they had committed a violation of the lineup regulations by presenting only 11 registered players in the Ascenso MX instead of 12.

"Therefore, it is determined that Dorados de Sinaloa loses the match against Club Universidad de Guadalajara by a score of 3-0. Additionally, they will receive a fine of 1000 UMAs," says the statement from the Disciplinary Commission.

This led to a 3-0 victory in favor of the University of Guadalajara, which theoretically gives them a spot in the Round of 16 of the tournament.
