After defeating Pachuca 3-2, it was reported that William Palacios and Julián Quiñones, players from Lobos BUAP, were apparently hospitalized after a fight in a bar early Sunday morning, a situation that Rafa Puente Jr., coach of the team, is unaware of.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I just finished Mass with the team," the director said.

When asked if he had visited the hospital at night to see the two players allegedly involved in the fight, Rafa pointed out that he did not go for that reason, but to check on the condition of Lucero Álvarez, the goalkeeper who was injured in Matchday 2. "No, I went to the hospital to see Lucero (Álvarez), who had surgery last week and I was there to see him. Today he will be discharged."

Just a few hours after the victory over Pachuca Tuzos, executives, players, and coaching staff of Lobos BUAP attended Sunday Mass at the cathedral of Puebla, at the invitation of Archbishop Víctor Sánchez Espinoza.

"Congratulations on the championship, on promotion to the First Division, and on last night's victory. Thank you for being here, participating in the Holy Mass. We congratulate you," said Sánchez Espinoza in his message.

After the homily, the coach of La Jauría, Rafael Puente del Río, thanked them for the invitation received, as it is a great distinction for them as a team.

"We were invited by the Monsignor and we kindly accepted. It is always important to give thanks to God for so many blessings. In the end, if one attends Mass every Sunday because they profess the Catholic religion, as a team, most of us being Catholics, we gratefully accept the invitation from the Monsignor," he said.
