Eintracht Frankfurt announces the signing of Carlos Salcedo on loan
The Eintracht Frankfurt has officially announced the signing of Carlos Salcedo on loan, after the Mexican defender played for Fiorentina, the team he played with during the past season in Serie A.
Reunion with Marco Fabián
With his arrival to the 'Eagles', the defender will reunite with Marco Fabian, who was his teammate at Chivas since their youth teams from 2005 to 2007, with whom he shared the starting lineup on the first team in 2015.
Debut with Chivas
Salcedo made his debut with Chivas in Matchday 1 of Clausura 2015, which coincided with Marco Fabian's return to Guadalajara after his spell with Cruz Azul, where he established himself as a player.
Success and changes
During this period, both players led Chivas to a playoffs, but later on, José Manuel de la Torre was dismissed and they were replaced by Matías Ameyda, with whom they won championships and were runners-up in Copa.
Last appearance together
Officially, the last match where both lined up for Guadalajara was on November 22, 2015, when Chivas fell at home 0-3 against Santos; both played the full 90 minutes.
Reunion in the Bundesliga
Now, almost two years after that last encounter, both will reunite, this time to play in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt.
