Pumas is close to confirming Mauro Formica as their first reinforcement for the Apertura 2017.
From Cancun, where the Annual Meeting of Mexican Soccer is taking place, Rodrigo Ares, president of the capital team, assured that only the paperwork is missing to finalize the purchase of the former Cruz Azul player.
"We are just a little bit away from announcing the definitive purchase of Mauro Formica, only paperwork is missing," said Ares de Parga.
The other player on the university club's agenda is Antonio Bareiro, a Paraguayan player who would replace the departure of Pablo Barrera, but the negotiation did not reach a successful conclusion. "The deal for (Antonio) Bareiro, from Libertad (Paraguay), fell through today," confirmed the director.
