MIRA: Jorge Fossati and how he transformed 'U' into a competitive team in just one month
This was reported by the "Blue and White" portal, which reported that Salomón Lerner, Fernando Farah, and Antonio Armejo decided to sell their share. By regulation, the priority for purchase was Diego Gonzales Posada, the fourth member with financial participation in the Blanquiazul Fund, but "could not obtain the 4.5 million dollars" for the purchase, as reported by the aforementioned media.
In response to this, businessman José Ignacio de la Romaña Letts would be the one to buy the credits that amount to 53% of the debt owed to the Sunat. He would become the main creditor if the sale is completed.
Those close to Juan Diego Gonzales Posada assured El Comercio that the manager is confident that the sale will not take place. He has even asked for more time to raise the capital in order to buy everything, as he feels that this year he can win the local trichampionship.
—Discontent—
The discontent of some of the members who are going to sell is due to the fact that they saw Gonzales Posada assuming powers that did not correspond to him within the club. "He doesn't have control, but he was allowed to have influence on club-related issues. The environment sees him as the main boss," says Walter Álvarez, intimate partner and spokesman for the Organized Members Al1901 collective.
According to the partner, the three members got tired of seeing how Gonzales Posada's word seemed to be law within the club. "It was like going, giving an opinion, and in the end, it was recommended to do what Diego said," he says.
For example, Gonzales Posada presented it as if the purchase of Las Garzas had already been agreed, when in reality there was only a consensus that it was an action to be carried out, but there was no money to do it. Or the most recent case of the arrival of Christian Cueva to the team, a completely Juan Diego's management, when the other members had some objections.
The arrival of José Ignacio de la Romaña would be accompanied by businessmen Carlos Jiro Hiraoka and Irzio Pinasco.
According to the "Blue and White" portal, the intention is for José Sabogal to be the new administrator, but that choice depends on all the creditors.
INTERVIEW: "We had hope that Cueva would perform better, but he is not in good physical condition"
Walter Álvarez hopes that with everything exposed these days, Indecopi can act on Alianza and find a way to control Gonzales Posada's presence in the club's management.
In addition to the new creditor entering, the first steps would be to call a meeting of creditors and the eventual appointment of a new administrator. "The manager must be completely independent," says Álvarez. Regarding the entry of De la Romaña, he avoided commenting until he knows how his participation will be, of course, once the sale of the credits is completed.
