A new scandal shook the Argentine football world in the last few hours. Or at least it seemed that way, after rumors appeared on social media claiming the separation of Lautaro Martínez from his girlfriend Agustina Gandolfo, apparently due to her infidelity. To make matters worse, amidst all the speculation, the player's Instagram account was deactivated all of a sudden.
At the same time, the model and influencer also posted an image on her social media with a text that said "The love you give is eternal". While the description stated "I hope you never regret the love you gave. Even when things didn't turn out as expected..."
Immediately, social media erupted and several accounts didn't hesitate to assert that Gandolfo had cheated on the Argentine footballer with one of his Inter Milan teammates. However, it was nothing more than rumors, as the player himself came out this Tuesday to clarify what happened and deny all kinds of speculation.
"People, why do you invent separation stories? My wife and I are together and doing well, there's nothing to explain or clarify. We are happy. Let us enjoy our moments. Don't consume nonsense and fake news. Have a good Tuesday!" wrote the 'Toro' on his Instagram story, attaching an image with his partner.
"Last night they tried to hack me and closed my account. I was able to recover it this morning, thank God!" clarified Lautaro about the deactivation of his Instagram.
Hours earlier, Agustina Gandolfo also voiced her opinion with a short but clear message. "I'm having mate while I see the imaginative power they have, I love them" she wrote sarcastically.
So, Lautaro Martínez faced the match between Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen with absolute naturalness this Tuesday for the second match of the Champions League group stage. The 25-year-old striker came on in the 72nd minute and contributed to his team's 0-2 victory away from home.
