This Wednesday it was revealed that Erick Pulgar, a player for Fiorentina and the Chile National Team, has been accused by a 24-year-old woman of sexual assault that allegedly took place last weekend during a party at the player's home.
According to the Chilean newspaper La Tercera, the 'Roja' player has been questioned by police about the incidents that occurred in his home located in Caleta de Tango, Chile. The police took his statement regarding the case of sexual assault, which, according to the victim's testimony, occurred at a party organized by the player with the participation of about 20 people.
The player's surroundings have denied his involvement in the crime, and the people who were at the party indicate that there are cameras inside Pulgar's house that can prove he had no participation in the assault. However, the woman maintains that there were football players involved, including Erick Pulgar.
The woman's account states that she was at a bar in Los Condes where she lost consciousness and was taken by a group of people to Pulgar's house where the party was taking place. "Specialized personnel are carrying out investigations in order to locate him or the individuals responsible for this incident and present the evidence to the Public Prosecutor's Office," a police officer told local media.
