The Red Devils overcame a seven-run deficit and defeated the Falcons by a score of 15-11. Next up for Grosse Ile is a matchup with Grand Rapids Christian on Thursday, June 16 in a D2 state semifinal game at Michigan State University. To advance to the quarterfinal game on Saturday, Grosse Ile won the D2, Region 13 championship with a 2-1 win over Milan while Divine Child claimed D2, Region 14 title with a 10-1 win over Hazel Park.
