A hostel where fans of Ajax from Amsterdam were staying has been burglarized by hooded individuals dressed in black on Wednesday night in Warsaw, before today's football match against Legia for the Europa League.

According to the police, cited today by the news agency PAP, there were no injuries in the incident, in which more than a dozen attackers threw stones and bottles at the hostel and a neighboring bar.

The police said the attackers, who were not wearing Legia emblems, fled without being identified.

In any case, the Polish champion distanced itself from what happened. "Legia condemns all kinds of violence and vandalism," wrote a club spokesperson on Twitter, threatening a ban from entering the stadium if they were local ultras.

Legia organized a strong security operation around the match together with the Polish security forces and representatives of Ajax.

Last November, the Polish club was punished with a match against Real Madrid in the Champions League without a crowd in the stands and a fine of 80,000 euros for serious disturbances caused by its fans.
