Chapecoense Player Alan Ruschel to Return to Play in May
Two months after the air tragedy of Chapecoense in Colombia, sorrows are calming down and good news is starting to arrive. Alan Ruschel, one of the three Brazilian team players who survived, will return to play in May of this year.
"I'm fine. My recovery is good, the doctors are happy, and it's all going so fast that it scares me, as it was planned for me to return to play in August or September, but the doctors now say that I can be on the field to play for Chapecoense in May," said Ruschel to SporTV Brazil.
The doctors who are treating Ruschel assure that his recovery "is very fast". "I'm happy to be alive, to celebrate life better, and I just have to thank everyone who prayed. I'm happy to be living all this again and I appreciate the love of everyone who supported us, and today we are here honoring, in the best possible way, those who left and left us," concluded the Chapecoense defender.
