Mateo Kovacic
Mateo Kovacic has started to have a lot of prominence in Real Madrid. In the previous season he wasn't considered much. Now, with Zinedine Zidane as coach, he is having opportunities, which he has taken advantage of.
However, his work on the field is not a matter of discussion, rather it is his use of languages. In the last Spanish classic, the Croatian midfielder received a shower of criticism from Jordi Alba, the blaugrana full-back.
While Mateo Kovacic positioned himself in a defensive wall, Alba attacked him, pointing out that he didn't have a good command of Spanish. "You are very dumb, learn to speak Spanish, fool. Learn to speak first, dumbass, and shut up, fool," were the harsh words from the Barcelona player.
For several moments it was thought that the former Inter Milan player barely knew Spanish. But that assumption was wrong because the Real Madrid midfielder is a multilingual expert.
On social media, a short video started to circulate showing how Mateo Kovacic perfectly masters five languages: Croatian, German, English, Italian, and Spanish. The latter is understood with tranquility.
What will Jordi Alba say now? Will he be able to apologize for his harsh verbal attacks? Who knows. The only thing we can know is that Mateo Kovacic can play in any league in the world and express what he wants with utmost clarity.
