Chivas couldn't overcome "Panzas verdes" from León

To not lose rhythm due to the pause that the Liga MX experienced during the FIFA Date, both squads faced each other in Fresno, California, and the team from Bajío came out victorious with a score of three to two.

To demonstrate that they are still on an upward trend, striker Marco Bueno put Chivas ahead just one minute into the game. With an assist from Eduardo López, the striker opened the scoring, but the joy would last very little for Matías Almeyda's team.

Four minutes after Bueno's goal, Mauro Boselli equalized the score. A quick goal from the red and white team and an almost instant equalizer from the emerald team marked a promising start to the match in the United States.

Chivas did not lose momentum and before the end of the first half, they took the lead again courtesy of Carlos Peña, who finished off a great counterattack by Chivas with a shot that found the angle of León's goal.

In the second half, Carlos Guzmán equalized the score again in the 60th minute and 13 minutes before the end, a goal from Juan Cuevas sealed León's comeback against Chivas in U.S. territory.
